It’s election day, but locally we only have one thing on the ballot.  Both St. James and Peaine have a single question on whether to continue the current maximum millage rates.  The proposal is to continue the limits at the same level they have been in effect for several decades according to County Treasurer Betty Simons, speaking to the News-Review. Sample ballots for both townships are linked in today’s script online. Polls opened today at 7.  They close at 8.
