The Beaver Island Sustainability Fair (BISF) invites you to attend an in-person, Clean Energy Dinner and/or discussion on the evening of Wednesday, October 14. During the discussion, you’ll get to meet in person with Ric Evans – Great Lakes Board member and Clean Energy specialist for Groundwork. Also attending will be Sara Millies-Luckeh, an MSU college student with ties to the Island who is drafting a Clean Energy plan for the island.

Sustainability Fair leaders have made sure to invite islanders who responded positively to our Clean Energy Survey, following our August webinar (including energy consultants Doug Tilly, Bill Detwiler and others). They tentatively (weather dependent) planning on gathering in a ventilated area (the Donegal Bay Pavillion) with electric space heaters (a back up location will be announced, if needed). At 5:30 pm they’re offering an informal get-together with a pot of chili available for those who wish to join. The Clean Energy discussion begins at 6 pm. Your RSVP is requested, please email us back to celticbodyprayers@gmail.com.
