EGLE has reserved the entire conference venue and has capped the event at 350 attendees, 20% of the venue’s capacity
The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), in partnership with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presents the 2021 Areas of Concern (AOC) Conference on September 29-30, 2021, in Muskegon, Michigan, at the Lakeshore Convention Center, with several pre-conference activities on September 28. The goal of this annual meeting is to provide opportunities to discuss work implemented throughout the AOCs and to connect with a wide variety of partners to continue making progress towards delistings. Attendees will include: federal agencies including EPA, state AOC program managers and staff, AOC Advisory Council Chairs and members, private sector and academic interests, AOC leaders and other interested parties.

NOTE: Registrants will have the opportunity to submit a proposal for a poster to be featured at the event. Information on how to submit an abstract will be supplied in the registration confirmation email.
